China Agricultural Museum

The National Agricultural Exhibition Center and the China Agricultural Museum are two brands, one institution, and are directly under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China. The National Agricultural Exhibition Center is one of the top ten buildings in the capital approved by the State Council in 1958. Its location, scale, layout and style were personally examined and approved by Premier Zhou Enlai. It was officially completed in September 1959 and opened to the outside world. The China Agricultural Museum was approved by the State Council in July 1983 and was built on the basis of the National Agricultural Exhibition Hall. It was officially opened to the public in September 1986 and was rated as a national first-class museum in 2012.
