SPORTS TRAVEL AGENCY

Sports Travel Agency is directed and owned by Daniel Knop. Daniel already started operating as a Guide for international trips in 2002 during his years of study. Sports Travel Agency was finally founded and given its name in 2008. Daniel played and served as a team captain for the junior academy teams U-16, U-17, U-18 and U-19 (1993 - 96) of professional club team SpVgg Unterhaching in Germany's top level junior leagues. Though still playing for the U-19 team he was also nominated for several games in the U-23 team. After the time at the youth level he went on playing for several semi-professional clubs, like e.g. SV Heimstetten, up to the Fourth League in Germany. Later on he stopped his active playing career due to severe injury problems. As a student he was selected to the roster of the combined team of Munich's Universities (1997 - 2000). During that time he won the Bavarian and South German Championship and competed for the German National Championship for Universities. In 2000 he was selected for a soccer scholarship at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas. There he was part of the team that became NAIA Heart of America Athletic Conference Champions with no defeat and a game record of 9-0-0.
